Not yet. And future feedstock sources are being developed....like switch grass and algae for instance. One way or another we will solve this and get enough....because we have no other choice. We are stuck between running out of oil and global meltdown.....We either solve this dilemma, or perish....z

So your assumption is that ALL food is grown for human consumption? Since when has that been true?

I used to get the ole "Eat all your food - the people in China cannot get enough to eat" from my parents and never could convince them to send the damn okra and squash to China then. Not trying to play down the need for food to other countries, but there is no credence to your statement that all food should be considered for human consumption. In fact, the whole genius to the Rivera Process is its ability to give back to nature from whece it produced its product. Most food processes do not even do that, much less energy processes.

You sound like you prefer to depend on oil and leave all farms for people - that has never been true and will not be so in the future. Ask a farmer if he prefers to sell in bulk to any company that would buy it or hold his crops only for human food consumption - you might be surprised by the answer.
