Anavex’s pipeline has at least 14 indications and one undisclosed indication on its pipeline chart (I noticed cancer is gone from the list, thankfully). This includes AD, PDD, Rett Syndrome, Infantile Spasms, FragileX, Angelman’s Syndrome, Schizophrenia, Frontotemporal Dementia, Depression, Stroke, Neurodegenerative Diseases (undisclosed and no number given), Visceral Pain, and Acute and Neuropathic Pain.

No small biotech company, especially one run by a one-man-band autocratic CEO, could possibly pursue all of these indications. It’s ridiculous.

The guy’s ego is beyond massive. It borders on pathological.

Is Childhood Dementia the New Disease Target?

From Missling's personal presentation at this conference in Australia it seems very likely that the previously undisclosed new indication for blarcamesine may well be Childhood Dementia.

About one in 2800 babies born will suffer and die from the disease.

In 2021 3,664,292 babies were born in the US. At this rate a bit over 1300 would have died of the disease.

Rett Syndrome Association of Australia presented at the 2nd Childhood Dementia Symposium in Sydney and Dr Missling presented on the possible usage of Anavex therapeutics for childhood dementia.

Since he can’t get any to stick without redoing trials..

…first it was RETT changed endpoint requiring another trial, now its AD changed endpoint requiring another trial…oh and pdd no trial at all

DaveV-1 do you think the mystery Rare disease trial is associated with childhood dementia? Im not familiar with the statistics of childhood dementia but it seems to me it would be a perfect fit if the numbers are high enough.
