Much the same is true of any submission they make to the regulators, once something is turned over to them, the ball is totally in their court.

True, BUT this is also true of virtually EVERY biotech seeking approval of a treatment. Yet they do not have similar long delays at every step and provide no guidance or at least an explanation of what is happening for investors.
