There is a reason they are using an external entity to do this as a contract manufacturer. Plus they can assume the contracts of critical workers is NWBO decides to take over manufacturing from Advent. While I do not think such a merger is likely, I also think it is possible that Flaskworks has made the use of a CDMO no longer likely to be the best option. But I do not think the company will take Advent because Advent will be there to provide services, under the regional financing arrangement, to other companies and researchers and that would be a huge distraction for NWBO to take on. So I just do not think it would make any sense and if for the reason you suggest, it would not be approved. The reality is also that keeping them separate likely keeps her in far better control where someone might contemplate a hostile takeover. So I just don’t see it.
