Sounds like you mistakenly think the upgrade was by JPM when it was in fact by Jefferies.

JPM on market screener shows 05/06/2022 "JPMorgan Downgrades Amarin to Underweight From Neutral" and JP Morgan analyst Wolle's last analyst action appears to be a SELL recommendation initiated on Jul 31, 2022 (no price target). ... which I earlier commented was odd as they are serving as Amarin's financial advisor.
