Since I started buying AVXL around May 2020, institutional interest has risen from about 22 percent to 37 percent, and absolute dollars have gone up much more sharply. That counts for something with me, certainly more than message board posters do.
Until MANY here become comfortable with the fact that the VAST majority of Institutional holdings of AVXL are within Index instruments, THAT recurring assertion is not only meaningless but more a biased talking point than positive metric.
