Considering the post was lifted from Optune's website -- they seem to know how it operates and what it is made from. As Optune is in testing form numerous other tumor types, the adhesive patches allow application for ovarian, pancreatic, lung and other torso tumors.
THe side effects are equivalent to "injection site irritation" - only Optune's is skin irritation from the adhesive. Other that that, no severe treatment based adverse events.
