That's just silly or naive. Denner doesn't operate as an activist shareholder because it's easy. He goes into every investment knowing it's going to be a challenge. If his investment targets were easy to fix for a profit, then everyone would know about the opportunity, and everyone would be doing it.

What company welcomes activist investors with open arms?? ..."yes! please kick us off the board and fire management! Great idea!!"

Sure, there are probably some targets that actually DO welcome Denner, because they know they are in over their heads. But that would be more the exception than the rule.

I laugh when people say stuff like "OMG, Denner just wants to break even on this horrible investment!".

Please.
