Most of us, including myself, have portrayed the Health Net settlement as a nice win for Amarin that can help make other insurers play fair. But perhaps, given our miserable experience lately with the rock-bottom share price, we should play devil's advocate and suggest that perhaps Amarin settled with Health Net because the company realized other insurance companies were so angry that Amarin set a new and dangerous precedent by suing a health insurance company that they decided to get their revenge by dropping Vascepa from formularies all together.
