I also find it odd to boast about cash on hand, as if it's an accomplishment. It's not from revenue. It's just them selling shares via ATM and diluting shareholders. Thanks a lot.
It shows the company is well supported by cash on hand. Can fund operations for 4 years without the need for additional capital raising, receives money also from non-dilutive sources including the Michael J Fox Foundation and from the Australian government and shows a very stable and managed cash spend.
As a room full of investors that is what you want to hear out of a pre-revenue bio.
