Vestor111/GeodesRrocks49 — Yesterday at 3:38 PM1/2 It is all about the DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURES between the reservoir and the ability to lift water & oil 8,000 feet TVD back to surface. H2O = .433 psi per vertical foot. GOAL >> Reduce the water = increase in flow with available gas in solution by gas expansion. During the flow back and into the future, the hydrostatic weight of the water at bottom hole exerts 3,464 psi against the reservoir. No matter what % of the frac water is recovered, the 8,000 vertical feet of the well bore water still exerts 3,464 psi at bottom hole. 40 API gravity crude has a specific gravity of 0.8251 (WATER is 1.0) and weighs 6.871 pounds per gallon where as water weighs 8.35 pounds per gallon. So, a full column of oil would exert a bottom hole pressure of 2,858 psi against the reservoir. What is the reservoir pressure? If the insitu virgin reservoir pressure is 3,500 psi then the only available working pressure (which is gas expansion) to lift the water (and oil) is the differential pressure between the water and the reservoir pressure; which in this example, is (3,500 psi reservoir - 3,464psi = 36psi). Clearly the reservoir pressure must be greater than 3,500 psi as evidenced by the flare and the amount/volumes of the different weights of the fluids that came to surface. Pantheon has provided the information to allow this type of cursory assessment. Knowing the effects of the differential pressures of the various fluids at bottom hole provides the necessary information for anyone with O&G experience to perform this basic hand calculation.[3:38 PM]2/2 Pantheon assumes ALL investors are familiar with the O&G terms and the ability to at least make a basic calculation of hydrostatics and bottom hole pressure or they would not be investors ....right? - hence the wording in the RNS's & the Q&A is not misleading, just not comprehended by most of the retail stock holders. They are not going to holding Basics school. This is the reason that experienced O&G people have not panicked. It is also the reason "@Flight" formed this server and why so many others have tried to offer 'real' and authentic conversations. Not understanding the sciences and engineering are not valid arguments against them. **SO - in summary, Pantheon is in the process of reducing the Differential Pressures in the vertical portion of the well bore in favor of the reservoir pressure. Eliminate as much water as possible and as fast as possible .... hence the current operations. -**ends-
