The airlines had the bankruptcy thing down to a fine art. I United Airlines shed $3 billion of debt back in 2002. AMC might accomplish the same thing by going BK. And you are right, AMC is in such a deep hole, shareholders, and all Apes, will be toast. Zero for them.
