a 50% loss would necessitate a fix...even a new strain of worms...given that the goal was 200 kilos, a 95% loss would amount to the actual production of 10 kilos...
do you think kblb did not produce 10 kilos in pilot production?...or at any other time?.......the freakin lab at Michigan could have produced 10 kilos easily...

yes...50% is in fact significant...it would in fact cause them to make changes...especially if the worms they used didnt hold up well, then OF COURSE they would seek out a variety of worm that would...I, in fact, would be quite surprised if they didnt... i would WANT them to....
and yet, 100 kilos is still quite a lot...not what was expected...not what was desired...and not enough....but still significant...
