Yep, that is the risk some people take. I did myself. I sold another stock of mine for tax purposes that is about to pop any day. I have until 1/20/23 before I can buy back in. I’m taking a huge risk unfortunately. Sucks that investors have to worry about our bullshit tax system when trading. I guess we help fund Ukraine’s war….
