I had minor errors on the 'data' slide from the post-CTAD video. For example I note that ADCS-ADL improved +3.5 points from baseline. But this isn't really the full story - patients had a vastly greater chance of improving +3.5 points (which is clinically meaningful) over baseline, over placebo group.
So really, my written explanation is a more clear and accurate representation of what was reported.
Going forward, I am compiling a good deal of evidence which supports the reason for Anavex's trial design, and topline readout methodology - specifically, I believe they were being mindful of requirements and expectations for EMA approval. Will make a post on that sometime soon.
Regardless of his statement announcing his presence, he’s not there. The study of his “being” with a sample size n=1 is not sufficiently powered to make his claim.
