Not only has this all been publicized and documented for years, it is included in the PDF attached to the JAMA manuscript and Liau spoke about it in the JAMA interview which is also public. Then, on December 5th, Liau participated in a public webinar and she talked about it again which was about 500th time that she did so publicly while being recorded.

I cannot make any sense of your claims—verifiably false and misleading to suggest the peer reviewers were not aware.
