PoW mining is mostly over with ETH 2.0. This is a red herring. Those still ASIC mining certain coins like BTC use specialized hardware. PoW mining has nothing to do with data transmission or photonics or this company’s pie in the sky pipe dream modulator technology which hasn’t and most likely will never be fully commercialized in a meaningful way.
