Birdbrain, The key is not just a launch in Europe, but a "successful" launch
in Europe. I see it as a Catch-22. BP can do a successful launch. AMRN
in GIA mode cannot. (At least in my opinion, maybe I'll be proven wrong.)
The best solution that I see is for a sale at a reasonable price to allow a BP
time enough to benefit from whatever period of exclusivity remains without
threat of competition. Could it already be too late? I hope not. What I hope
Denner brings to the table (if he's even allowed a seat at the table) is a sense
of urgency to get a BP BO accomplished. Long ago JL would disparage my
views as simply wanting to make a quick buck on a BO. In reality, I thought
BP was a necessary component to generate optimal sales. (I still stick by
that belief.) GIA mode for AMRN never seems to work, nor do it's JVs.
