Ah...I cut my teeth on RPGII while in high school. Eventually made my way into the AS400/iSeries but gave that up and moved to the networking and security side. I slept better when I was coding :-)
I still have boxes of 8 inch floppies in my supply closet. Until a couple of years ago I had a machine that would copy from 8 inch to 5 1/4 inch. An insurance company sent me half a dozen floppies each month and paid me $ 200 to convert them. That machine quickly paid for itself.
As in gaming? Because in the last few months some nefarious people think it's clever putting up digital effect war scenes on Ukrainian sites like this one.
They are pretty vigilant in finding and taking them down. Maybe even both sides. Visual propaganda.
Talk about looking authentic. 90% of the people think they're real videos. And this example is simple wire mapped uniforms with minimum texture. At 4:07 it actually made me jump.
