Ah...I cut my teeth on RPGII while in high school. Eventually made my way into the AS400/iSeries but gave that up and moved to the networking and security side. I slept better when I was coding 
I still have boxes of 8 inch floppies in my supply closet. Until a couple of years ago I had a machine that would copy from 8 inch to 5 1/4 inch. An insurance company sent me half a dozen floppies each month and paid me $ 200 to convert them. That machine quickly paid for itself.
