It would be nice to see updated data from that trial if the participants are still being tracked. In any case, nwbo should be able to commence a stage 2 trial soon given the funding.
That DCVax Direct data was from 6 years ago. Being reminded about how Direct has languished due to lack of funds is not helpful right now when things are rightly in a celebratory mood.
One of the things that can soon (in real, not NWBO terms) happen is that Direct will get moving again.
Does anyone else remember the woman who had an inoperable tumor the size of a large piece of fruit in her lung and after taking Direct the tumor resolved to the point she returned to swimming?
I do. Anyone who eagerly listened to the presentations years ago does.
That’s just one anecdote but it gives you an idea of why we need to get things with DCVax-L done and have the resources to get Direct back on track.
