What I suggested wasn't intended to be bearish, merely to get investors thinking about how a partnership should be made, and that more than BP's should be considered.
I certainly don't mind being wrong, but I would mind it if LP took on a major equity partner at too low a price. Frankly if it were done in stages, like say 5% of the company at $5 when we're selling at $2.50 with other options to buy more at substantially higher prices I wouldn't mind. I wouldn't like it if 20 to 30% of the company were sold at $5, even if it was twice the current price. I grant you, that price would make many of us millionaires, myself included, but I believe a partnership with us should be worth so much more than that.
