Yesterday up at Marrickville i had a quick sidewalk conversation with an acquaintance, Joe, up there. He's bummed money heaps of times. Always pays it back. To me, anyway. When i told him about my no-pokies-until-Maddy-gets-back November deal i arranged down at the GG he said, good. Then bit later he added, as long as you are happy, he said. He's hanging in and his rationalizing helps him. He's not happy though.
The TAB used to be government owned. Gawd knows why it was sold.
