My rose bushes, have 4, started out as scraggly little boogers too. Thee three red ones are the ones that really blew up. I have a white one too but sadly she doesn't perform like the others. She only blooms in the spring and really doesn't keep up with the rest of the team that constantly reproduce all season . I think in trying to feed her I gave the other ones a bunch of performance enhancement but it's still ok.

There's nothing wrong with gambling as long as it's within your means. If you put off paying your bills to play the pokies, then there's a problem. Sometimes you even might be able to win a bunch but you have to know when to walk away.

Now with the money you have saved, you can put it to better uses like home improvement or whatever. Treat yourself to a good meal from time to time.

I know when I quit drinking, I was astounded at how much extra dough I had and with smoking it got even better. Now, even though being single and living on a moderate wage I can still afford a good night on the town with my dates without having to whip out a credit card.

I'm no stranger to gambling. I pissed away a ton of dough when I was younger on sports bets and finally came to my senses. I still love to play blackjack at the casinos but I try to keep that to only once or twice a year. I usually do well but there are some nights where nothing goes my way and I'm gone in an hour.

Just have to know your limits. Quit when you're ahead is the hardest one. When we were young we had a card game every Friday and sometimes it lasted until Sunday. Until someone won everyone else's paycheck it didn't matter. II walked away from that table many times giving money back to people who I had won it from because I knew their wives and kids would not be happy when they went home broke.

Maybe the hard part is sticking to a set bankroll and not hitting the atm or bank when and if you lost the set amount.
All my adult life I set a misery limit of 50 bucks because I've never been much over middle class with little savings so as much as I enjoy and study casinos and games, I've never once broke that rule.

I have walked out of casinos with their money 80% of the time and have stayed in the black the whole time. Not a hell of a lot of money, but never had trouble with it.
I enjoy the experience and stick to old time reel slots and black jack tables.
Even Indian casinos are wiping out the reels. Now all the local casinos have at least 75% of slots in multi denominations with penny slots dominating. Thing is most went to some sort of force payment of 10 bucks to play. Of course you can cash out, but the conditioning is 'play 50 lines' which costs up to 5 bucks a pop and people blow by that. This is massively studied for decades.

The sickness is when people can't stop and maybe believe 3 more spins and I'll get my money back. We're not even talking about really sick gamblers. That isn't how casinos are designed. They're like banks who use your 10's of thousands of dollars to make thousands of dollars and give you 2.50 4 times a year for the privilege. Bookies and sports bets are the same way. Today, internet casinos are the least safest gambling in the world. Literally all online gambling is off shore with these shady operators paying to use name brand casinos in the states.

I believe state run online casinos only allow residents to play? Anything thing else online is probably in belize. This website has had threads about off shore gambling as well.

If you're curious about online gambling, you can do a search like 'non payment online casinos'.
