my limit was always 200. Win or lose that's it. I've crushed the blackjack table for up to 5 g's a couple times but you have to know when to beat feet. Only reason I didn't stay is because I had a support system around me who are telling me "dude it's time to go".

Like I said, I've dumped the 2 bills in less than an hour too so I just go to the buffet, grab a bite and go on my way.

LOL one time I was in a a casino with my mom when she was living here, was killing it at the tables and she lost her butt at the slots while I kept feeding her. I probably won 10 grand that night and only cashed out with 6. She sat down next to me and was literally stomping my foot under the table because I was throwing 100 dollar chips in the ring and I was drunk and ready to take on the world. I thought she was going to break my toes but she was right. Time to set sail.

Adrenaline sets in and sometimes you just need a friend to tell you it's time to go.

life lessons.

I know a guy who kills the roulette wheel. Was never my thing but he knows every damn number on that sucker and his theory is that dealers always spin the ball at the same pace, so if you can see what number they let it go from or even the territory of the wheel, you can toss your bets and cash in. LOL he became a millionaire from his bets and is still doing it to this day. I just never wanted to give the time to figure it out. I can count cards myself but not into a six deck shoe.

just let it roll and have fun within your means.

Big effort thanks. LOL i set a limit and break it with glee. Left my Visa at home lots, but use it for shopping and drop into the pub on the way home. Lately, for 3-4 hours, in and out. In to have only $5 or 10, out to chat, do the word game or crossword, or just read. Then 15min. later back in again for another few dollars. Nothing like the levels newmedman has just mentioned, but it's all relative. And it's been most every day lately. Enough to wipe out my savings of about two years. I'd be up say $100 or so, and saying to whomever, "no way i'm blowing this." Then on the way home, bit of beer in the last glass, one last visit . Bang. Thing is most every day lately. All discipline out the window. Heh, am pretty sure because i had the Nov. deal coming up i''ve let loose even a bit more. Soooo, Nov. 1 a rejig. YAY!
