The only reason LWLG trades at the $700 million market cap is because of the specific claims being made by Mr. Marcelli and Dr. Lebby.
No director, no other boatd member, no analyst, no industry insider, no hedge fund or institutional representative, no technical expert, no partner - no one else has confirmed or validated the specific claims to commercial viability being made by these two individuals.
That’s highly significant. If you removed the claims made by these two individuals the stock would still be trading at one dollar a share.
So the high stock premium comes down to their credibility and their credibility alone. The fact that they both took $2.6 million in bonuses without any of this outside confirmation is for me highly disturbing as it would be consistent with an inside con job.
We are therefore only left with the hope that faith in their credibility is well placed. Unfortunately Mr Marceli’s credibility is not particularly high, having missed positive projections for commercial readiness for many years. Dr. Lebby’s credibility is far higher, however he apparently predicted and missed a commercial deal by 2022 ASM. So, his specific guidance for the second half of this year and beyond is being watched very carefully.,as the $700 million valuation is on the line.
If the claims of these two men are not validated the stock will move back down to the $1 range over time because their words were the reason the price moved up from the low dollar range in the first place.
