Lots of folks on Twitter (doctors, nurses, researchers, as well as GC) claiming the government numbers are misleading because they have redefined what qualifies as a positive Covid case. General consensus is the numbers are being manipulated to show improved outcomes because there's an election in November and the current administration doesn't want the public to know how bad it is.
If it was only Gerald claiming this, one might say he's just promoting Todos, but many others are saying the same thing. Makes me wonder what the numbers will look like in December, after the elections, and when the multiple new variants that are sending charts vertical around the world are fully realized here during the holidays, with hardly anyone wearing masks anymore and the vaccines useless against these variants.
