Yes but most vaccines contain proteins unique to the virus that the immune system, the dendritic cells, become sensitized to when the vaccine is injected into the person. it is an in vivo process occurring within a living organism vs DCVAX where the the DCs are harvested from the patients blood, reproduced to a larger population and sensitized to the cancer unique marker in vitro outside of the patient. Even direct where the DC are injected back into the tumor where they become sensitized have the DC harvested and grown in vivo. These processes are unique to DCVAX and patented.
What is still un clear to me is how the mRNA proteins unique to the patient are determined. Do they used leukapheresis to harvest the patients DCs, grow more outside the patient and then some how figure out which proteins need to be incorporated into the mRNA vaccine? Not sure how they would do that easily and if their mRNA vaccine is sensitized DCs just like DCVAX well there again are all those patents NWBO has that the would need to pay BIG $'s to license.
