Having spoken to one of the mRNA experts about DCVax, I learned that mRNA is certainly fantastic, breakthrough technology, but it cannot compete with the DCVax personalized vaccine process, in that mRNA is able to identify most of the antigens commonly found in large tumor cancers ,but not all antigens that are specific to each individual patient. In dealing with treatments for deadly cancers like GBM, almost all is not good enough !!! Choosing a mRNA vaccine over DCVax is a bit of a "Russian Roulette" game of chance!!! I would think that as far as marketing DCVax, the choice between mRNA and DCVax would be an easy decision.
