If anyone cares to learn about what LWLG is doing behind the scenes in the creation of its PDK, go to 40:00 of the video in my post I’m replying to.

LWLG is not only making modulators with the PDK, but a full design that includes couplers, splitters, combiners, and passive waveguides. They are extracting as much value as possible. The video explains the process and challenges.

What does “expected results” mean? Who knows, but we know LWLG has been working with foundries for a good while now so I think it’s fair to say a formal next step in the relationship. Is that completion of the PDK? Is it a joint PR with a high volume silicon foundry?
