Unless your drug treats cancer it’s sad to say you need advertising in the US to move the market. Vascepa sales started to stall once the company shut down all the print, TV and online advertising. They need the once a day or combo to bring back the US market. The generics success ended up costing them billions, they can fight over 100k scripts until the company gets their act together with a new product.
Irish.... AMRN has drastically cut its marketing spend this year since the generics are slowly taking most of their US market thx to pharmacies doing an auto substitute to generic if cheaper than the brand . In other words ...the generics benefit the most from any $ AMRN spends on marketing in the US .
