Who cares. The trial is over. The 'long trial' is complete. What are we looking at now? NWBO and DCVax-L has 5 year OS data for nGBM and rGBM showing statistically/clinically significant improvement over the SoC. Of the prior 886 GBM trials, NONE have shown successful 5 year OS for nGBM and rGBM.

These trials are not quick. These trials are not cheap. The vast majority have failed. None have shown a 5 year OS increase. NWBO and DCVax-L did what no other trial has done.

We are in the year 2022. The trial is done. It is a success. The next step is approvals.

Approvals are coming.

You are 100% correct— none have had such a long tail of survivors. The DCVax P3 captured the tail and ended the trial, but there are trial participants still alive today well surpassing 10 years …

OS is the gold standard and OS data became available after many years. There is no measure more reliable than OS.

So many of these survivor stories are old news— research 2022 updates—some are GBM patients surpassing a decade or multiple decades—miraculous …

Long is good. That means the OS is great. Thanks for pointing out the length of the trial.

Time and successful trials for NWBO
"Many oncology trials use many global trial sites. None have taken as long as NWBO's."
Simply stated, NWBO trials have taken a long time since they have been one of the main leaders if not the leader, and many of the other oncology trials failed. Once again, great comment as it supports NWBO's time and effort to achieve their successful trial.
