#117119 RE: Koog #117117

If you have been following here long enough you would know the difference between the pre Lebby and post Lebby eras.
Since Lebby started the goal posts have moved just by a few months and that’s over past 5-6 years. I think this is an acceptable deviation for something that major. News is coming soon, the timeline is clear. Can further delays happen, sure they can and each person will have to decide if that delay is reasonable or not. I believe that we will meet the timelines given by company as they partnered with multiple foundries to create redundancy (if I understood correctly they may have had some trouble with one foundry and to avoid further delay they went with multiple foundries) although some posters say that foundries are paying for this I believe that Lightwave is paying for these test runs and that is why they went with that many foundries. Creating redundancy increases chance of success and if successful with all foundries then ubiquity sooner rather than later. Thanks

Koog I thought you said photonics was 15 years away from being used commercially? He is not moving goalposts, just repeating what was said at the May shareholder meeting.

The beauty of it all is that we'll see who's right very soon indeed.

With any luck a foundry announcement or two confirming scalability in the next 8 weeks.
