And what is your point, that our country suffers morally for not having more people who cannot, will not, practice what they preach?

Nixon, Reagan, Trump, all raised as Christians and with the 3 administrations with the most members indicted and convicted.

Clinton, Obama, and Biden also Christians, but..........

I think the difference is that the latter internalized 'the ends do not justify the means' as well as the following most of the time, or just way more than their counterparts I mentioned.
