Reminds me I watched, again, the movie 'Spotlight' the other night; which treated that very subject.

My old next door neighbor was geting pissed about them as I was but he found the solution. One day three women were canvassing and he got butt ass naked, fired up a doobie and answered the door, asking them to come in and join the party. LOL they never ever came back after that.

Now THAT is a creative solution to a common problem!
