Just some more simple math.

The last 108 enrolled would normally have been 72 treatment and 36 control group.

However, because we can seemingly safely assume they did not enroll the last 17 control, the ratio is actually quite striking.

Last 108 =
89 treatment
19 control

Again, these were all on average sicker patients because they were enrolled in the second half of the trial.

We simply need to wait for more data to draw more conclusions. Meanwhile, the experts, who’ve seen the data, are persuaded:
