That trial is an early stage trial not designed to establish efficacy, so no need of an SOC arm. Most trials do not have an SOC arm. Even some late stage randomized trials do not.

if the P1 trial you are talking about shows the combo to be safe and suggests efficacy, it will still need to be shown that the atl'-dc component is needed as, per LL, CIs look to have efficacy in rGBM when used prior to surgery.
