Yes they always tend to locate them then play them. Remember there are institutions playing this (50% goal) so perhaps some of their "friends" only pay 1% interest to loan shares out.
It is a game but until recently we were guessing what happened today and they wouldn't tell us 2 1/2 weeks later what transpired on one day long ago and meanwhile many longs would assume a drop in the share price was longs and not just the big boys playing head games with them to get their shares.
The bottom line is there are far too many shorts outstanding (sold already that need to be covered) for a "sunrise" business with cash on hand for years and 5-7 foundries setting up for production. We are number one on some sites for a short squeeze.

Oops yes and no,,,,, the current shorts are expecting street price to decrease, but yes borrowed shorts (not sold yet) expect it to increase. They don't lock in anything when they borrow interest rate wise, they just grab them and wait. Cost to borrow changes every 15 minutes.
