Those two adult studies were too small with too much placebo response based on too volatile (in genreal up to 300% between samplings) subjective endpoint scoring methods.
We need Excellence data to tell us which way things point, imo.
Of all the "de-risking developments" over the past couple of years, far and away the most important one was when AVXL basically quadrupled over a 3-day period on no news whatsoever and ran into the upper $20's back in early February 2021. This completely irrational move gave everyone with a sub $5 cost basis at that time (which had to have been 90%+ of the posters on this board) the chance to permanently de-risk their investment by selling just 20% - 25% of their position. For some reason, it seems that only a handful of those here took advantage of that opportunity.
Hopefully in the end, it won't matter as AVXL will soar into triple digits and beyond and those who chose NOT to de-risk and continue to run with "zero-cost shares" back in early February 2021 will end up being either smart enough, crazy enough or just plain lucky enough to reap enormous gains on all of their sub $5 shares! As always, time will tell. Personally for me, it's much easier and a heck of a lot less stressful waiting for that time to arrive while holding onto "free shares"...
My basis is still just in the $5+ range with mostly well timed buys,...
