You assume that the 2-73 treatment for AD is far better than the trial data supports.

Yes there have been some very good results from a few that recovered significant losses. The painter, the piano player etc.

There were also a lot of subjects that continued to decline albeit at a reduced rate and some that quit declining. Those results aren't going to cause "the existing supply chain" to fall apart.

2-73 is very likely to become the SOC for AD and other CNS diseases. As much as I hate to echo this line, it is not a magic bullet. 2-73 is a major improvement in the almost nonexistent SOC and represents a paradigm shift in the treatment of CNS diseases. That is huge and should make Anavex investors a lot of money as well as improve the lives of many folks that have a very bleak future.

None of the RETT girls are going to be getting high school diplomas after taking 2-73. They will be improved from where they currently are and that is very good thing. We don't know the current AD trial results, even if they are much better than the previous AD trial there will still be a lot of people that will still have to deal with AD cognitive issues. What will be changed is there will be hope for some percentage of people to recover some lost functioning. There will be hope for some to halt the decline. This represents hope where there presently is none. That is a very big deal.
