#664 RE: Bob Zumbrunnen #663

Is it doable or possible to make searches case sensitive, at least for caps? Thus, for example, if I wanted to search for AKvetch, I could enter "AK" in caps and only get posts or members that have "AK" match in caps. I would not want lower case to be limited to lower case, but caps would be useful. Perhaps a toggleable option for match case?

Not only do i have an example,
but its a real reality example so fresh that its still warm.

On the Computer Learning board was placed an important
GotMilkSpeakese give help to a got of an ask help post.

The method used was to select an example here on iHub
where help was like trying to move forward in reverse,
and rather than gotmilk picking on one of the "usual suspects"
like Susie, Churak, or any mouse from iHub's jailhouse,
an Advanced Search was done, as follows:

5a. Find posts with ALL these words I humbly enter.
6b. Enter your search words: [doable oops bad mistake]
ok,
got two results,
(search engine did made fun of me using word doable :o)

but ...... knowing that after viewing the first post listed
that....... to use the Back browser function
would... result in the following

Data Missing - Document result of a POST operation,
that is no longer in the cache. The form can be reposted
using reloading Back button, but fields will be nulled outted.

ok,
Another Day,
Another Bobn'Z Work aRound is needed.
(Note: Only for those able to go to Opera.)
Set to "On" the following two options.

- - View
- - - - Progress Bar

- - Preferences
- - - - Status Bar
- - - - - - Popup Address of Link

Position your mouse cursor on each search results and note
on a piece of paper that (# msg - number) number so that
after going to the first results you can simply edit in your
Progress Bar the number at the end of the URL to become
the next post listed in the search results. This way you need
not return to the search results page until Bob FIXES this :o)
