The Vietnam war was such a mess. Nixon won that year in part because some people were dumb enough to believe he really would get us out. We thought we were accomplishing something in the '60. Did we?
But I do think Bannon will go to jail. Not for very long, but he will go. His case is just stupid, and everyone--except perhaps for Two-Shirts himself--knows it.
He says he's appealing, but on what grounds? Judicial error? What error? Two-Shirts didn't even present a defense. What verdict did he expect the jury to return?
Bannon may not realize it, but nobody cares about him very much, Trumpty included. So I don't think anyone will be going out of his way to do favors for him.
