Why aren’t you unhappy about this, too, given your appreciation of the importance of proper processes and procedures?

Because I don't have enough details to avoid errant conclusions. I am here to make money, not understand how they arrive at process changes. When the cocoons get bigger, you adjust processes. When new equipment is installed, making changes prior to that isn't necessary.

Thompson should have implemented the processes and procedures used at HQ over at Prodigy in 2019

As if CEO's necessarily have anything to do with how or why their subordinates make procedural/policy and best practice changes.

Do whatever you have to do, go wherever you have to go. Just find ways to do it better, make changes when needed, and adapt....
