That “Dendritic Cell Generating Apparatus” is the one currently undergoing process validation by Advent Bioservices to automate the culture process for DCVax-L, which will be necessary for commercial production. This patent is a very big deal; Northwest Bio continues to throw up roadblocks for the competition beyond just their trial data, which alone is a very high hurdle. Since “the process is the product,” Northwest Bio has now effectively patented their cell therapy treatment!
