I remember one comedian on stage after cell phones had already begun getting smaller, say like the Motorala flip-phone timeframe, but before the advent of Smartphones, well there was a piano on stage and he went over and picked up the piano bench and flipped it up and put it next to his ear and said "remember when cell phones used to be like this?"
thought that was a pretty funny bit at the time, lol
