I get it if you live out in the country somewhere and wolves are regularly attacking your livestock. Otherwise, why do you need a gun?
you aren't going to paint me into the ammosexual corner with your snark about wolves. Last time I used a gun was to put down a wild horse who was stuck in a cattle guard with a broken leg. Something that is probably not part of your reality in Brooklyn.
And I do not agree that teaching fear is a good thing. I want my grandson to basically learn about things and let him grow, not to be taught to fear things.
I was taught that guns are tools for specific things. Most guns are designed to be good at their task; the ones designed to spray many bullets of such power and force that can kill just from the hydrostatic shock have no purpose outside of the military or maybe police work.
Loving guns is a weird thing some people do, but I don't have an affinity for them any more than I do my metal detector or a well-balanced hammer.
