I do not feel that way. He may like what he gets paid. It is not like you are asking him to launch a rocket into a civilian population. There were plenty of people I worked for and had limited respect for their decisions. You learn compartmentalization for day to day execution of your job. I always worked for someone even as a consultant. When the boss or who hires you says this is the direction - your work takes on their purpose.
