No, not exactly.

Vaxinia will be able to work in conjunction with Pembrolizumab. This is an immunotherapy drug that targets the extra-cellular protein called PD-L1.

The goal of Regen (Ichim in particular) was to target an intra-cellular protein (NR2F6) and then try to create a small molecule drug from that.

The problem is is that you need a ligand to do this. Extra-cellular proteins have ligands. The intra-cellular protein (NR2F6) does not.

The search and discovery of a working ligand would open new doors.
