Those who are interested in hearing what LL has to say are either scientists, patients, or speculative OTC investors. The speculative OTC investors likely have $120 to spend if they are interested in publicly hearing what LL has to say.
I expect they will release simultaneously with or before the event. I agree that they will likely release a PR or an 8-K, with superficial results and referencing a pending journal article that is either published just prior to (as in the morning) or simultaneously.
As for the $125, many times new results are released at conferences that are NOT public events but that have an steep admission fee. $125 is extremely low by common standards for such events.
