Saturday speculations:

1. I have maintained my guess for many weeks/months now that Pootin is being treated with corticosteroids for a lymphoma, thus accounting fr his puffy face.

2. His grasping of the table, tapping his foot, and hand movements are NOT CONsistent with the frequency if Parkinson tremors. These actions are more ways to cope with the stress of chronic and acute pain (like it helps to bite down on a stick or tense your muscles when in pain - similar for white-knuckling the table and an occasional foot tap to distract your mind. Parkinson tremor have a characteristic frequency, and Pootin shows none of those IMO. It is pain-coping.

3. If he does have abdominal surgery, my munny is on a lymphoma in the abdomen that is causing him intractable pain. This is nott uncommon in people over 60.

4. His facial expression and occasional grimaces are other signs of physical pain.
